Davis Re-anchoring Project
Status: COMPLETE! In July 2025, members of the Washington canyon community executed the proposed re-anchoring project for Davis Creek and were reimbursed by the WCC. We thank the community for their input and support throughout this process!
Description: Nestled in the PNW, Davis is arguably one of the most recognized and classic canyons for both beginners and intermediates canyoners. The creek was first bolted prior to the advent of modern bolting standards and contains old, unreliable anchors that are both and eyesore and potentially a hazard. The WCC is currently preparing a proposal for the updating of anchors, with plans to share this proposal with the community to solicit feedback.
